Since their first collaboration on the 2003 musical The Good Person of Szechwan, Leon Ko and Chris Shum have forged an extraordinary partnership as one of Hong Kong's most celebrated composer-lyricist duos. To celebrate their partnership, Hong Kong Musical Con's Cabaret Series presents It Takes Two: Revive!—The Musical Anthology of Leon Ko & Chris Shum, featuring star performers Margaret Cheung and Freddy Au Yeung. In an intimate cabaret setting, they will perform carefully selected gems from Ko and Shum's repertoire—from The Good Person of Szechwan and New Legend of the White Snake to the acclaimed The Impossible Trial—revisiting two decades of musical brilliance that has defined an era in Hong Kong musical theatre.
